Big Data Architect - Hadoop/Spark/Solution/Python/TOGAF

Our client is a well-known insurance company based out of Ireland. they are looking for an E2E solution architect to join their Data team for the role out of their new AI platform. For this project you will be working closely with the Lead Architect of the Operations Team.

The successful E2E Solution Architect will be responsible for the following:
* Creation of the HLA in line with Architectural guidelines and gathered requirements
* Presenting the proposed solution to the Architecture Review Forum (ARG)
* Ensuring options to the HLA are documented
* Work within a team of architects to contribute and share knowledge
* Ensure that design works within the bounds of the Security Framework

The following experience is required for the successful E2E Solution Architect:
* Systems/Software engineering background in large scale distributed systems
* Good knowledge of at least one of the following programming languages: Python, Scala, Go, Kotlin, Java
* Strong delivery focus utilising standard Architectural patterns
* Experience of the Hadoop Frame work (such as HDFS, Spark, HIVE, Impala, HBase, NiFi)
* Experience of architectural frameworks such as TOGAF or Zackman
* Experience of modelling languages such UML, ArchiMate and BPML
* Innovative in the solutions proposed that balance expediency of delivery with cost and scale
