Information Security Officer

This client is looking for an experienced Information Security Officer, the right candidate will be responsible for security in Data Governance, IT and Cyber Risk Security in their office based in Ireland.

Requirements:

* Minimum of 5 years' experience working in Information Security- financial industry is desired
* ISO27001, CISM, CISSP, CISA
* Knowledge of technologies such as Cloud, Software Development, Infrastructure, Encryption and Firewalls
* Strong communication skills, verbal and written
* Independent work ethic, ability thrive under pressure and manage a large workload, have a good 'Get-Up-And-Go' attitude towards work

Your Role:

* Preserve the maintenance of ISO27001 systems and current IT risk register
* Advise guidance on emerging and current threats
* Assess Security risks, data protection risks, vendor risk assessments, preparation of DPIA's
* Internal and external audit support, pointing out security controls and their effectiveness
* Controlling cyber security related issues throughout business areas where 3rd party outsourcing arrangements are in place in line with emerging best practices in this area
