Senior Systems Manager required for leading Dublin city centre based client.

Our client is developing and modernising their core Banking platforms to support their Digital Bank strategy while ensuring existing platforms consistently operate to the highest standard of deliverables and outcomes. The Senior Systems Manager will oversee the future capability across all core systems ensuring they are, aligned, compliant, strategic, efficient, adaptable, evolving, relevant and resourced.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced leader to help shape the future of our clients’ core banking platforms and digital capabilities.


The Senior Systems Manager will:


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ownership and accountable for the integrity of the core systems, ensure roles, responsibilities, processes, business rules and data are understood, documented and maintained.

• Alignment and transition to the outcomes of the banks digital transformation

• Support a technical roadmap for our clients’ core systems that will continue to innovate from a technical standpoint

• Ensure products and systems are developed within an overall architectural blueprint which accommodates regular innovation and evolution

• Manage and deliver large-scale programmes and projects to time, cost and quality

• Liaise with banking platform leadership team to ensure a capability agenda is implemented and supported

• Support the growth of the banking platform operating model


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

• A 3rd Level Qualification

• 8+ Years IT Project Management experience in a financial services environment

• Solid understanding / experience of core platforms, ideally operating in a highly regulated market such as Financial services

• Experience and knowledge of Banking regulation 

• Excellent data gathering and analytical capability

• Experience operating at a senior level across all levels and functions

• Previous Legacy systems experience

• Proactive approach to problem solving

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
