My client who is in the finance sector and based in Dublin is currently looking for a Data Scientist/Data Engineer on an initial 6 month contract to assist the management team in creating and finding value through advanced analytic techniques.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILTIES (not limited to)

* You will be responsible in driving the creation of the machine learning/AI solutions.
* Develop Python/Scala and other ML frameworks & languages
* Communicate and work with other engineering teams
* Assist management team, report to Head of Data Science/Data Science Manager

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

* You will have 3+ years working experience with Python/Scala and machine learning.
* You will have 3+ years working experience in a data analytic role working with large scale data sets
* Degree in Mathematics, Computer Sciences or related
* Ideally you will have experience with deep learning, Hadoop
* Analytical mindset with a passion for problem solving
* You will have 3+ years' experience of building machine learning models
* You will have great team skills and high levels of communication
