Big Data Engineer - Cork - €40 - 65k
The client is an Artificial Intelligence software house with offices in Cork & Dublin.
Currently there is an opening for an experienced Data Engineer to join a senior team. Ideally having experience in an environment with a large quantity of transactions would be ideal. The role is an opportunity to advance your career to a Senior role quite quickly.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure that data is ready to use.
- Creating ETL designs.
- Oversee processes and policies.
Key Skills required:
- 5+ years in Data management.
- Database experience with MySQL, MongoDB & Redshift.
- Scripting skills using SQL, Python or Java.
- Experience with Spark or Hadoop would be beneficial.
- Knowledge of Kafka or Elastic search.
- AWS would be highly beneficial.
