Front-End Developer
My Client is an innovative software house working with tier 1 clients building and maintaining new platforms. They are currently seeking a Front-End Developer to join their agile team and assist in the development of effective user interfaces.
The successful candidate will be developing and testing within an engineering scrum team on an innovative project and will contribute their own ideas and experience to a high-quality standard of design.

Required Skills for the Front-End Developer role:
• A 3rd level degree in Computer Science / IT
• Excellent English and Communication skills essential
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work as a member of a high performing engineering scrum team
• Ability to work consistently as part of a team in order to provide adequate support to all staff members when completing tasks
• Displays ability to receive feedback in order to foster a learning environment within the workplace
• Ability to work efficiently in a timely manner when solving customer issues
• Ability to assist & coach new team members to maximise team performance
• Displays willingness to actively listen and give full attention to what others are saying
• Fosters a culture of self-improvement throughout the team
• Displays ability to collaborate with other team members in order to reach the best solution to a problem
• Shows ability to prioritise issues during busy periods in order to ensure optimum performance
• Shows willingness to learn from others in order to ensure that solution proposed is the best solution

Required Experience for the Front-End Developer role:
• Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery
• Proven competence in large scale SPA development, Angular JS, NPM, Node.js, CSS, SASS
• Front end architecture patterns e.g. MV*
• Client side testing
• Very strong knowledge of latest UI frameworks and Web Services including REST
• Object oriented analysis, design experience
• Familiar with latest web standards
• Familiar with popular JS frameworks and libs
• Integration with JavaScript based reporting and charting solution
• Experience working in an Agile environment with Engineering scrum teams is an added advantage
• Proficient with APIs and service oriented architectures
• Object oriented analysis and design using common design patterns Good understanding of web app testing and debugging
