Experienced Java Developer

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Java Developer to join one of my key clients in the Investment Banking industry to get a good insight into financial services and work across various asset classes.

What will you do?

As a seasoned Java Developer, you will be working across a number of projects which range from Legacy updates to greenfield project.

Depending on your experience, you could be involved in:
* Back End Development using Java 8
* Front End Development using JavaScript, Angular JS, React JS
* Fullstack Development (using a mix of both of the above)
* Exposure to NoSQL databases
* Working with OO languages such as Java, Python, C#, Scala
* Working across various asset classes including Equities, Derivatives, Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange, Risk
* Working in either Front Office, Middle Office, Back Office

Your background:
* A degree in computer science or equivalent
* Experience in either Back End or Front End technologies or a mix of both
* Previous working experience working in the financial services industry
* Windows server or Unix experience
* Some Scripting experience in PowerShell, Python, Perl or Shell
* Previous exposure to public cloud technologies would be desired
* Excellent communication skills and the ability to think outside of the box
* An ambitious and proactive personality who is willing to go the extra mile and likes to push technical boundaries to explore the impossible
