My client who is based in Dublin is an industry leader and currently has an opening for a Business Intelligence/Data Engineer on a contract basis.
In this role you will be responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining the data warehouse, utilizing platforms to enable decision support systems.
You will need to be passionate and comfortable working with large data sets and have the ability to being them together to help business growth.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;
* Data warehouse design, implantation and maintenance
* Build ETL's
* Define analytic requirements and deliver scalable end to end solutions
* Data modeling
* Reporting and dashboards
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
* 5+ years with Data modeling, SQL, Data Warehousing, ETL & Data Warehousing
* Bachelor's degree in computer science, Mathematics or related field
* Experience with Datalake development
* Experience with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, MicroStrategy etc
* Knowledge of AWS
* Experience with Redshift
* Exposure to noSQL databases
* Python experience
* Experience with predictive/advanced analytic tools such as R, SAS or MATLAB
