Software Developer in Test role based in Belfast City Centre with an award-winning company that specialises in creating cyber security solutions for a quickly increasing list of clients. Your new role
As a Software Engineer in Test you will be focused on developing automation using languages such as Python and Ruby and using testing technologies such as Selenium. The role with have an emphasis on the development side of testing, so for someone who wants to keep a focus on their coding skills then this opportunity could be perfect for you. You will be involved in the planning of new features and have the responsibility of ensuring any new features are covered by the automation testing.
What you'll need to succeed
You will need at least 2 years' experience using a software development language such as Python, Java, Ruby, C#, C++ etc. with some experience in application development. You should also have experience with shell-scripting in Linux or Unix. Most importantly you should be passionate about software development and software testing and be eager to further your experience with automation.
