Python Developer- West Dublin or Kildare

FRS are now hiring a back end Python Developer opportunity. This role can be based in either Dublin West or Kildare. Strong experience of Web API's required.

Main responsibilities:

* Development of the REST API backend for the Django data management and the mapping tileserver & processor

Requirements:

* Min. 3 years of commercial experience in backend API development with Django
* Proficient Python 3.x coding skills
* Good skills in testing
* Good knowledge of REST API design
* Working knowledge of SQL and Postgresql

Beneficial:

* Knowledge of geospatial server applications and data formats
* Good knowledge of PostGIS
* Good knowledge of GDAL/OGR including Python bindings
* Knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes, particularly Google Cloud services
* Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment
* Independent and able to work efficiently both in an office and remotely
