Senior Wintel Server Engineer
Contract: Day Rate Contract for a period of one year, with annual options to renew up to a maximum of five years. (We may also consider a permanent option for the right person.)
Location: IFSC, Dublin 1
Level: Senior Level Experience (i.e. >7 years' experience)
itContracting are currently seeking applications from experienced (7+ years) Senior Wintel Server Engineers for a position based onsite with our client to support their Wintel Server Infrastructure.
Requirements:
* Senior level experience of VMware virtualisation technologies
* Senior level experience of Microsoft Client / Server technologiesincluding the following:
* Microsoft Windows Server 2012R2 including Active Directory Group Policy design
* Microsoft Exchange Server 2010/2016 and Microsoft Exchange Online
* Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) 2013
* Senior level experience of Enterprise IT customisation technologiesincluding the following:
* Microsoft Windows 7 & 10 Enterprise - customised deployment and support
* Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT) 2013
* Senior level experience of Enterprise backup technologiesincluding the following:
* Veeam Backup and Replication v9.5
* Symantec Backup Exec 2016
* Senior level experience of Enterprise IT Security technologies, including the following:
* McAfee ePO 5.x & McAfee VirusScan 8.x Enterprise
* Cisco IronPort email & web security appliance management and policy design
* Checkpoint firewall R7x administration
The following qualifications/ certifications are considered very advantageous:
* Microsoft certification to MCSA level or further
* VMware virtualised infrastructure certification
* A qualification within a formalised model of IT service delivery, such as ITIL, or equivalent
* A copy of the relevant certificates will be requested.
Candidates must be eligible to work in Ireland or currently hold a Stamp 4 Visa to apply.
