Graduate Trainee – Financial Planning / Systems Accountant

Our client provides a wide range of ERP, CRM and Analytics solutions to their customers. They are now looking for a Graduate Trainee to join their friendly team in Dublin.

This role would suit a candidate who would like to ultimately expand their financial experience into the technology arena, and work for one of the largest analytics consultancies in Ireland.
Once fully trained, as a Graduate Trainee, you will provide support to customers using TM1 (Planning Analytics), a best-of-breed forecasting, budgeting and financial reporting package from IBM.
Additionally, you will:
- Provide support to key customers
- Assist senior developers
- In the long term, progress into consultancy as well as other IT and BI technologies
Interested? To be considered, you’ll need:
- A degree in accountancy (or equivalent)
- Further education or a strong understanding of IT or Business Information (BI), including developing report content
- Experience with large and/or complex MS Excel spreadsheets and macros, gained through your studies, a commercial environment or similar
- An understanding of budgeting and planning cycles and methods
- To be highly numerate with attention to detail and trends
Enthusiastic and ambitious, as a Graduate Trainee, you will have the drive, determination and willingness to learn new skills. An analytical approach and excellent attention to detail are also key.
