Data Scientist - Dublin City Centre
Exciting opportunity to join an award winning team with a top Pharmaceuticals company in Dublin city centre. My client is leading the way in AI and biotech software. You will work with one of the most innovative R&D teams in the country to develop innovative solutions and visualisations of large data sets.
The Role:
* Performing analysis of complex big-data sets to come up with innovative solutions and help the R&D team make decisions on their research outcomes.
* Design visualisations and dashboards for stakeholders, both technical and non-technical.
* Work on statistical and machine learning solutions to help identify opportunities to improve processes
* Design database schemas
Requirements:
* Master's Degree or PhD in a quantitative field (or equivalent industrial experience)
* Expertise in working with large data sets, including big data.
* Experience with biological data
* Experience with visualisation frameworks, ideally, python based or software such as Tableau or Power BI
* Knowledge of web frameworks such as django, rails, or flask
* Familiarity with SQL and/or NoSQL database technologies
* Familiarity with machine learning techniques an advantage
