At Capita IT&N, we work with a wide range of customers across the UK and Ireland delivering flexible support and field services, from service desk to Field Engineer support. We provide desktop and server support, hardware and software break-fix and IMACD (installations, moves, adds, change and disposals) utilising both remote, field-based and on-site engineers.
The engineering teams are supported centrally by a UK based ITIL service desk, service management, and resource scheduling teams, all of which are underpinned by leading service management systems. This role will be covering schools located in the Greater Belfast and North Down areas.
You will provide both hardware and software support primarily to schools covered under the ENNI contract including: PC's, Laptops, switches, servers, wireless access points, Active Panels, Whiteboards and projectors- the successful candidate will also be required to carry out trouble shooting tasks, installations and site based ICT support.
Duties and Responsibilities
Field support along with providing onsite ICT support to both primary and post primary schools
* Working day measured as onsite 37.5
* 9am on site start 5pm finish
* Accurate completion of Field Service Reports via PDA
* Adhering to stock movement process.
* Regular checking of company emails and following company training requirements
* Completing Capita compliance and customer service training
* Experience in PC hardware and software repair
* Experience of working alone
* Experience of working with customers
* Strong knowledge of Windows 7 and Windows 10
* Strong knowledge of C2k Wi-Fi network along with devices i.e. iPads, android devices
* Understanding of ITIL
