We are now seeking a Principal Software Quality Assurance Engineer for our client in Galway, an industry leader, through its innovative technologies and solutions in Audio, Imaging, Machine Learning and Semiconductors, they enable experiences that are intuitive, personal and accessible everywhere. This is a unique role and provides the opportunity to build a team of talented QA engineers within our clients Galway office

The role

Strong experience of quality assurance activities in a software environment. The ability to drive continuous integration, build systems, source control and automated testing tools. Some experience of low-level (eg. SDKs and modules) and high-level (GUI) testing environments would also be of huge advantage

You will have experience in leading the development, documentation and execution of software test plans on multiple projects. Plan, lead and coordinate continuous improvement and problem resolution across engineering teams on multiple projects. Evaluate, select and deploy test automation and software analysis tools. Set SQA quality metrics for multiple projects. Create SQA methodology and workflows for the core SQA team.

This role will report into the Senior Director, Engineering within the mobile division. The successful candidate has strong communication skills, experience leading teams, an enthusiastic approach to problem solving, a natural passion for collaboration, and an acute ability to adapt and learn quickly.
