Machine Learning Engineer - Galway
The Position
My client, a ground-breaking software engineering company based in Galway, are currently expanding their team with a Machine Learning engineer to work on their R&D team and take part in both a range of research and hands on development projects.
You will work heavily with the latest cutting edge AI and Machine Learning research and development including working with the latest methods for network design and optimisation.
Job Description
* Apply Machine Learning techniques to real-world examples utilising neural networks across a wide range of projects.
* Develop AI and Machine Learning technologies for both more generalised and specialised machine Learning Accelerators.
* Collaborate in the development of machine learning related tools and frameworks across the business.
* Keep up to date with latest advances in machine learning and deep learning both academically and across the industry.
* Demonstrate a structured and detail-oriented approach in order to follow rigorous scientific and engineering methods.
Requirements
* Proven experience of conducting R&D
* MSc degree in a relevant field with at least 3 years relevant industry experience desirable
* Proven experience in development and productization of AI/ML technologies
* Strong experience with neural networks
* Strong C++ and Python skills
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Familiarity with version control systems, preferably Git and development methodologies such as Agile/Kanban
* PhD in a relevant field would be advantageous
* Familiarity with Tensorflow and PyTorch would be an advantage
