My client's German Market Sales Team specialises in dealing with new and existing businesses of all shapes and sizes. As a senior member of the Sales Strategy & Operations team, you'll be responsible for strategy and overall effectiveness of the sales organization, partnering closely with senior sales leadership and the broader sales team to drive initiatives and results.
Responsibilities include resource planning, go-to-market analysis, reporting, quota setting and management, sales training, sales program implementation, sales compensation design and administration as well as a personal revenue contribution.
We are looking for a market expert who has demonstrated success dealing with and selling to Enterprise sized businesses, operating in a high-growth environment, and solving problems with limited supervision.
Ideal candidates will have sales operations experience scaling a technology sales team and superior (German) communication skills.
* Determine go-to-market approaches and conduct regular business and resource planning for the German market.
* Define, manage and provide insights on key performance metrics and activity targets.
* Create and manage processes such as sales target setting, forecasting and budgeting.
* Design sales workflows for your relevant channels.
* All of the above is with the view of Spear-heading the German Sales operation and driving results from the front with significant personal contribution.
* 8+ years of sales, strategy and operations experience in an IT environment - Software Preferable.
* Has strong analytical skills and a structured approach to growing markets and driving revenue results
* Works well under pressure, with a high degree of adaptability and flexibility in an autonomous/spearhead role
* Prior experience at a growth stage software company preferable.
* Experience selling into Enterprise size companies within the DACA region.
