TalentScope Recruitment Solutions, on behalf of our client in Dublin 15, are seeking applications for a Level 3 Support Engineer role for their Support Team.
The successful applicant will perform remote support and will visit client sites to resolve Level 3 IT issues. It is estimated that there will be a 60/40 breakdown of remote support and client visits. You should have 5-6 years’ experience working on multiple client sites. You will design the specification of the customer infrastructure and present your findings to the customer.
*You will be proving 3rd level support to customers based remotely or onsite and provide advanced troubleshooting of hardware, operating systems and applications.
*You will be performing performance analytics
*Monitoring customer environments
*Design/spec customer infrastructures and present your findings to the customer (Pre-Sales)
*Own, Drive and Implement IT projects e.g.
Microsoft Office 365 Migrations (AzureAD Sync, ADFS)
Virtualisation implementations (onsite, cloud and hybrid)
*Coaching and mentoring other team members
*R&D (looking for new solutions, trends from which the customer will benefit)
*Streamline internal processes to improve efficiency (imaging, back-up, scripting -Powershell/Bash)
*5 Years of experience in a similar role
*Strong Windows Server Operating Systems (Server 2008 R2 and above)
*Strong Windows client operating systems (Windows 10)
*Microsoft Office Suite and Office 365
*General Networking (DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP)
*Dell PowerEdge Servers and Storage
