SIEM Security Specialist

We are currently looking to hire a SIEMS qualified security specialist for a permanent position based in our Dublin Citywest HQ. The successful candidate will have at least five years’ experience in Security and will join a dynamic organisation working within a larger team of developers to work on and set up a team specifically for Security and Machine Learning.

Knowledge base:

• SIEM (Security Information and Event Management) qualified essential.
• Demonstrated experience of Development, more specifically experience or knowledge in Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Neural Networks and Algorithms. 

Specifically, knowledge of:

SECURITY:

• Syslog and event logs
• SQL, RDBMS
• Splunk
• Packet Capture, PCAP
• Netflow, IPFIX
• Firewalls and IPS
• Stix, Taxii

DEVELOPMENT:

• Java, JSON, Web Services, Websphere, C/C++, Python, Ansible

BIG DATA:

Knowledge or Experience of any of the below a key advantage:

• Hadoop and HDFS
• Apache Metron, Apache NiFi, Apache Storm, Kafka, Kibana
• Elasticsearch
• Solr

Knowledge of the below an advantage

• R with packages,
• MATLAB, SAS, Scala
• Docker
