Senior Data Analyst - Cork
My client, a technology company, based in Cork, are currently seeking to recruit a senior data analyst to expand a growing team after securing a range of new contracts and exciting roll outs being in the pipeline.
This is a great new role, you will be reporting to the head of Data Analytics and be part of the R&D team. You will also liaise with the product owners so great communication skills are essential!

The Role:
* Develop reports on a range of reporting tools - mainly Tableau
* Gain valuable insights into the business and develop reports based on this.
* Liaising with various teams across the business including Sales, Marketing, Product and Engineering
* You will be responsible for turning the huge amounts of data generated by the business.
* Develop business insights to improve customer experience and improve user output.
* You will develop with a range of tools including SQL, Python, R, Scala, Spark, Hadoop and more.
* You will get the chance to experiment with a range of the latest big data technology as the company reinvests in its tech and continues to grow.
Your Experience should include:
* 4+ years of experience in a similar role
* Strong SQL programming skills
* Experience with Python
* Experience with Java
* Experience with Scala
* Experience with Hadoop and Spark
* Experience developing reports with Tableau or other visualisation tools
* Familiarity with Statistical analysis and statistical modelling
* Excellent communication skills
