Role: Network Engineer Type: Contract Term: 9 Months Salary: €300-€500 per day. We are looking for Network Engineers for a large IP Backbone Deployment project based in Dublin. The contract is based on site in one of the world's largest IT organisations who pioneered one of the largest and most complex networks in the world. We would like to bring in numerous Network Engineers for both the departments to cope with the forecasted workload in 2019. As a Network Engineer you will: * Be responsible for Design and Architecture to build Network Automations * Create Detection systems and alarms. * Create protocols to teach the system rather than wait for issues to arise. * Solve complex network issues * Work closely with our internal customers on designs/solutions; bringing those designs/solutions from concept to production. * Create and update our network standards project delivery experience * Work closely with our automation teams in transitioning and defining new tools that allow us to scale at unprecedented volume. We are looking for a talented engineer with around 3 years' experience ideally with CCNP, JNCP-SP or similar certifications from other leading vendors with equivalent work experience. You should have an In-depth switching and routing knowledge with extensive experience with BGP, OSPF, MPLS. Network Automation Scripting or programming skills using Python or PERL/C/C++is a big plus . Another big plus would being very familiar with Linux/Unix/FreeBSD, Open-Source NMS tools, Windows.
