The role:

As the Benchmark Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of benchmarking technology development, applying your technical expertise to analyse the representative workloads within an embedded automotive environment.

You'll be developing and modifying model-based architecture, providing performance characterisation of the features and functions within vehicle electrical systems and supporting internal stakeholders with associated requirements gathering and analysis. You'll also work extensively within benchmarking suites and simulation environments to gather and maintain up-to-date vehicle performance data on our vehicle benchmarking database.

* Developing and modifying benchmarking technology
* Analysing and maintaining vehicle data
* Providing performance characterisation for all their vehicles

What do I need for this position?

A degree qualified in electronic engineering, computer science, mathematics or similar, bringing practical experience of software development using C, C++, Python, MATLAB, LabVIEW or similar. You'll have knowledge of embedded systems and the processes and tools associated with Linux, QNX Neutrino, AUTOSAR, RTOS etc; MISRA, CRC, Data Integrity, ECU's, and automotive vehicle bus protocols. Knowledge or experience of the silicon architecture (ARM, x86/64, uC) is also highly advantageous.
