Financial Accountant - Contract, 6 Months, Dublin City Centre

My client based in Dublin City Centre are looking to take on an experienced Financial Accountant for an initial 6-month daily rate contract.

You Will:

* Act as the point of contact for clients on accounting matters and work in close cooperation with lease accountants
* Manage data flows out of Teradata for over 500 leases with 50 data points
* Lead a small team of analysts to format and consolidate lease data into IFRS format and feed to balance sheet structure
* Restructure historical actual data into new IFRS compliant format and update the reporting system
* Provide technical expertise on IFRS to understand and resolve queries on a wide range of complicated structures
* Act as bridge between ABF and the accounting team.
* Experience of OLAP financial reporting and planning tools
* Experience working on software implementation projects in the finance function

Skills:

* Qualified accountant with at least 2/3 years of relevant work experience.
* Knowledge of real estate investment or related industries, such as investment funds, construction etc. is a plus.
* Up to date technical accountancy knowledge, such as FRS, IFRS as related to property investment funds and companies.
* Strong IT skills - Microsoft office.
* Knowledge of OLAP / dimensional reporting systems an advantage
* Strong verbal and written communication skills (must be perfectly fluent in written and oral English).
* Organised with the ability to manage multiple projects/agenda.
* Proven ability to meet deadlines.
