Trading Developer (HFT, Python/C++) Dublin City

IT Search is pleased to be working with an established firm in the area of High Frequency Trading who are expanding their development team in Dublin City Centre

A market leader in the area of utilising technology to work alongside trading, due to consistent success they require an additional developer to work on their Python and C++ based programs.

In short, they require candidates to have at least five years of experience in not only the technologies but the trading arena, have a natural flair for algorithmic development based on Linux platforms but also debugging in real time and importantly, have a real passion for this line of work.

Candidates should have:

·      5+ Years of HFT or related development experience

·      Strength in Python, C++ but a polyglot will be very welcome

·      Holding a technical degree, but if you have a PhD in Astrophysics, that will help!

·      The character to work independently and be proud of your own code, but also be able to work with distributed teams towards the same goal
