Lead Java Developer / Technical Architect
Our client is a leading provider of global Fintech software solutions, serving more than 50,000 customers across 140 countries.
Currently seeking a Lead Senior Developer / Technical Architect with 8+ years solid full-stack Java Development and advanced design and coding capability.
In this permanent role, you will work in an experienced Agile / solid development teams with significant experience in full stack Java development of enterprise systems.
This is an excellent location in modern offices in Dublin City Centre.

The Role:
* Responsible for the application of technical architecture changes and design, developing PoC, advanced coding and rollout of new releases across various fintech, on-prem, product platforms
* Technology Roadmap - transitioning from EJB to Spring Boot / Docker, Microservice based architecture - Cloud AWS hosting
* Mentoring of more junior developers
* Contribute to the pre-sales activities and client presentations from time to time.
* Travel to client sites in Europe required, 2 - 3 days per month
Ideal Experience:
* 8+ years solid Java / J2EE Development
* Advanced Solutions Design & Coding capability - full stack Backend and some front end
* Knowledge of one or more J2EE Application Servers (Weblogic, Websphere, JBoss, Tomcat)
* Experience with messaging systems e.g. Tibco, JMS,
* An understanding of Oracle / SQL.
* Java APIs, Rest, Soap.
* Appreciation of Java design patterns e.g. GoF, GRASP.
* Input to Technical Design and/or PreSales Technical Presentations
* Experience working with Remote Teams
* A seasoned senior fullstack Java Developer - with advanced coding capability
