Young, dynamic subsidiary of a leading European Financial services multinational, we are seeking an IT Vendor Manager who can co-ordinate and manage both internal & external vendors to ensure delivery of IT services to the business in Ireland, as the operation continues to grow significantly.
My client is looking for a dedicated IT Vendor Manager and not an IT Manager who manages vendors as part of their job. This role requires a dedicated, experienced IT Vendor Manager.
Reporting into the Head of IT, we are not looking for another IT Manager or a Project Manager but someone who is experienced in IT Vendor Management, managing vendor performance, adherence to SLA's, KPI's, etc. Ideally, also someone experienced in IT policy governance, compliance and high-quality IT service delivery.
Most of the IT systems & services will be provided to this financial services organisation by a number of 3rd party IT vendors. Some are already in place while others are to be selected as the company has a preference to invest on & leverage outsourced IT services rather than building a large in-house IT function. Managing vendor performance is central to ensuring the successful delivery of IT services within this organisation.
The IT Vendor Manager is a new role, to work with the Head of IT, taking core responsibility for driving vendor service excellence and the delivery of IT services to the business. You will also assist with implementing & ensuring governance & compliance to IT policies, to minimise risk & maximise IT service delivery. So you will also ensure that IT frameworks and policies are continually enhanced to align with best practice and are applied to both vendors and IT operations.
You must have the following skillset & relevant experience in:
* Managing 3rd party IT vendors
* Vendor Lifecycle Management
* IT systems & operations knowledge
* 3rd party vendor management expertise
* Service Delivery management
* IT policy management & governance or IT audits
* Incident & problem management
* Excellent negotiation, communication & influencing skills
Salary Package = Flexible: €70-80K + bonus + excellent benefits
