QA Test Engineer - Contract

One of our oldest clients has just got in contact this morning with an urgent QA Test requirement on their tech team. Dublin City Centre based, this client has a hugely growing presence in their respective market.

The product you will be working on is business critical and as such needs an experienced QA Tester Contractor that can be charged with both Manual and Automated Testing, you will be the go-to for that product.

Responsibilities Overview

* You will have the ability to take ownership over the entire product testing lifecycle from creating comprehensive test plans through to execution.
* You will have a thorough mind for bug logging and the entire bug Lifecyle including writing concise but detailed documentation.
* You will have strong experience in Java based Test Automation with an ability to both leverage an existing automation harness, as well as being able to create new tests where needed.

Skill Requirements

* 5+ Years of QA Test Engineering experience, preferably in an Agile Software environment.
* Strong technical background including Java, Selenium, Cucumber, Jenkins.
* Experience with AWS infrastructure, PostgreSQL highly beneficial.
* Bachelor's Degree in computer science, Mathematics or similar is desired however strong professional experience will take preference.

This contract is an urgent backfill for somebody that is being moved to a different project. Ideally the client would like an ASAP Start but will be able to wait a couple of weeks for the right candidate given the Christmas holidays.
