Principal Software Engineer - Limerick

The Role

They will be responsible for designing the overall implementation infrastructure for a large distributed application that is designed to run over the Internet via a Web Browser, utilizing application server on Unix or NT platform.

Articulates and documents the product at the system level for understanding by the development teams. May write in-depth topical white papers and presentations as part of the documentation.

Works with third party vendors to develop software and/or integrate their software into the company's products.

Requirements

* Relevant degree
* 5+ years of commercial product development experience
* They are open on programming language, but ideally some experience with Java, C++, HTTP, Java Beans, EJB, OO, Design Patterns, Internet Protocols, TCP/IP, CORBA.
* Experience with the model, view, controller architecture is a must and previous experience with one or more of the following relational database system: DB2, SQL Server, Oracle.
