A professional insurance company located in Dublin City Centre is continuing to expand in order to provide an excellent service to their clients through reinsurance, active pricing and proactive claims handling. They are continuing to develop their systems and have an opening for a Junior Helpdesk Administrator to join their small but growing IT team. The main responsibilities of the Junior Helpdesk Administrator, over time and after full training, will be to:

1 Provide 1st and 2nd level helpdesk support
2 Be involved in the provision of new equipment; and,
3 Onboard staff and execute internal moves, provide deskside support and guidance, undertake user administration, work on a number of IT Projects and other related additional duties as they arise.

Responsibilities:

* Perform basic checks / issue analysis, escalate issues as required
* Provide regular updates and follow up on resolutions to ensure customer satisfaction
* Creation, cessation of end user accounts
* Install, configure and support various computing equipment
* Handling moves and add-ons of desktops / phones
* Assist clients when onsite with technical queries
* Support remotely the staff when they are travelling

Requirements:

* A completed or near completed undergraduate degree in an IT related discipline or equivalent including those with specialist diplomas or apprenticeship training in the IT area
* Some professional work experience while preferred is not essential as will training will be provided
* Some experience and working knowledge in the following technologies:

* Windows 10
* Windows Server 2012
* Office 365
* Adobe
* SharePoint Online
* Active Directory
* OneDrive for Business
* Skype for Business
* Azure Cloud

* Basic understanding of computer networks (TCP/IP, VPN)
* Familiarity with most common mobile operating systems (iOS, Android)

This is an ideal first step into IT as a Junior Helpdesk Administrator and will suit a person with a completed or near completed undergraduate degree in any IT discipline. Some professional work experience would be preferred but is not essential as full training both in the technical and soft requirements of the role will be provided.
