We have an opening for a Senior Data Analyst with an exciting start-up company based in Dundalk, Co Louth.
The role offers a unique and exciting opportunity to work closely with a progressive young management team delivering our unique cybersecurity solution to the medical device software space.
Our client is seeking an innovative and enthusiastic Data / ML Analyst to join our exciting engineering team. This person will work closely with our security researcher and the java development team. This role will be to develop machine learning algorithms for the predictive association of relationships between cybersecurity vulnerabilities and mitigations.
The person will be responsible for developing data models through analysis and correlation of data from a wide variety of relevant cybersecurity vulnerability and threat source data sets (indications and warnings).
Data Analysis is a pivotal component for the company and they are currently growing the software development capacity within the organisation. They are currently looking to recruit an experienced Data Analyst to take up a senior role within the software development division.
We seek applications from candidates with the following experience:
1 Have at least 3 years' experience working as a data analyst.
2 Honours Degree in Computer Science/Data Analytics/Mathematics
3 Experience of collecting and interpreting large amounts of data from a number of sources
4 Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms such as clustering, k-means etc.
5 Experience of analysing data for patterns, trends and anomalies
6 Knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, Natural Language Processing and Predictive Analytics
7 Reporting data analysis results back to the software engineering team
8 Working alongside the software engineering team and management team to improve algorithms, data collection and analysis processes both within the business and within the product.
9 Providing input into new feature development
10 Experience of cloud-based data mining, preferably using Microsoft Azure tools.
12 Reporting using data visualization software, with strong presentation skills.
13 Monitoring performance and quality control plans to identify improvements.
14 Knowledge of cybersecurity vulnerabilities and mitigations would be a distinct advantage but not necessary
