My client is currently looking to recruit an ambitious and proactive first line support engineer to join their IT Team.
* 6 month Contract
* Provide 1st line tech support via various communication channels
* Maintain an effective IT Service Desk service, ensuring delivery against the agreed service delivery goals and objectives, providing maximum availability and performance of the IT Service Desk service throughout the firm. Be the first point of contact for calls and solve problems
* Escalate problems to 2nd and 3rd line support
* Provide a high level of customer service at all times
* Document technical procedure
* Participate in training to enhance skills and capabilities
* Take ownership of all incidents and requests and track incidents and requests to conclusion in line with SLAs and quality standards.
Skills and Experience
* Previous technical helpdesk experience is necessary
* ITLL V2 or V3 knowledge
* Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
* Experience with Windows, MS Office Suite, Active Directory, Exchange, SRM tools, remote desktop connectivity applications, browsers, hardware support and various other applications
