As an Embedded Design Engineer, you will be tasked with designing, validating, integrating and maintaining new and existing software applications with a focus on software for medical diagnostic analysers. 

Working with internal and external colleagues, you’ll participate in code reviews and testing activities, including unit testing, integration testing and system acceptance testing. 

To be considered, you will need: 

- Experience of developing code for microcontroller applications 
- An electronic engineering and/or embedded software-related degree or equivalent 

The ideal Embedded Design Engineer will also have experience with RS232, I2C, SPI or CANBus. Experience of writing code in C/C++ would also be beneficial, as would a good grasp of electronic design, covering both analogue and digital circuits. 

Experience working the ARM microcontrollers would be advantageous, as would experience working with Keil µVision or other embedded IDE. Additionally, experience of using microcontrollers to interface with hardware would also be favourable.
