Site Reliability Engineer - Bash & MySQL

Contract Role

We have an immediate requirement for an experienced SRE based in the heart of Dublin city centre with an innovative software company! They require a contractor to carry out some key migration projects. Key skills required for the role are Bash Scripting, AWS or GCP, MySQL / MariaDB and Kubernetes/Docker.

There will be immediate interviews for a candidate with the right experience and they are willing to offer a generous daily-rate!!

The Job:

* Set up a replication betweena non-managed DB in DigitalOcean and GCP
* Maintain the replications
* Manage and provide support for migration
* Configuration and debugging containers - Kubernetes/Docker

Qualifications:

* Experience with a major cloud vendor AWS, Azure Ideally GCP
* Comfortable with MySQL/MariaDB
* Scripting Exp: Python, Ruby and Ideally Bash
* Previous Container exp: Kubernetes or Docker
