We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer for an exciting job opportunity in the AI space based in Dublin 2.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to help the company develop and deploy next generation conversational UI systems. You will work in a team that will be responsible for building state of the art conversational systems using deep learning. Very exciting technology!

Who will you work with:

You will join a unique, talented and multidisciplinary team of creative and talented individuals who are revolutionising how people interact with devices.

The company's technology stack comprises a number of different technologies including C, C++, Java, Python, Docker, AWS, Google Compute, RESTful and WebSocket APIs, and others.

What will you be doing in the job:

In the role you will be responsible for maintaining the production and Dev Environment. You will get to define the technical architecture that can scale. Along with this you will design and develop backend microservices, APIs, and automation tooling to expose the conversational capabilities. The innovation in the role will no doubt challenge you. There are other responsibilities such as features, AI Model generation, define development methodologies and code reviews. If this sounds like you, please do apply to the link.

What are we looking for?

Like most job adverts, there is an element of flexibility in what we look for from a skills perspective. It will be important that you are an experienced Python Developer having worked in a Unix/Linux Environment, so ideally 3 years' experience there. You should have working in a 24/7 production system with large scale distributed systems, again quite important to have experience in these areas to hit the ground running in the role.

What will the process look like?

Once we get your CV we will pass it on to the Hiring Manager, they will assess your suitability. Once everyone is happy we will arrange a first round interview. This will be over the phone with 3-4 people. Once that process is over there is only one step left. A visit to the Dublin 2 office. There you will again meet with a group of talented engineers where they will explore your technical abilities further. So expect to get on the white board. It is challenging but we try to get the process over with fast.
