DevOps/Build Engineer - Dublin CC

I'm working with one of Dublin's Tier 1 tech companies as they look for a talented Build/DevOps engineer to join their city centre office.

You'll work on the shared services team working in an exciting open capacity with multiple development teams and having the freedom to implement new tools and technologies. This is an engineering role that is fully hands on, but strong communication skills are necessary to allow you to work smoothly within a highly collaborative environment.

This role will suit someone coming from a development background and looking to move towards DevOps. Strong Linux skills are essential but on top of that strong python/ruby scripting would be preferable as well as hands on Java/C++.

If you feel like you're a little restricted in your current role then moving to an environment where you'll work in a way unlike anything you'll have previously experienced is probably just the move you'll need. It really will lead to a much more enjoyable workplace experience!

Desired Skills/Experience:

* Bachelor's degree in computer science or other relevant discipline.
* Excellent Linux experience.
* Java/C++ programming skills.
* Experience building CI/CD pipelines.
* Python/Ruby scripting.
* Git/SVN experience.
* Experience with config management tools - puppet/chef/ansible.
* Docker experience is desirable as well as AWS cloud knowledge.
