Java Developer

* 6 month contract (extensions expected)

Senior Java Developer required for an long-term contracting role with a global financial services organisation.
You will be involved in a large integration project as the company moves core systems across to a cloud based solution. You will join the project at a very early stage and will be expect to make contriutions to system design and architecture along with hands on development.
It's a highly visibilble project within the organisation, they expect this project to last for around 2 years.

Desired Skills / Experience
5+ years Java development experience
Strong experience across JEE, JPA, CDI, Hibernate, Spring etc.
Deep understanding of REST APIs, SOAP web services etc.
Exposure to an ESB (Apache Camel / ESB etc.)
Ideally experience in a CI/CD environment, good understanding of the benefits of automation
