WHAT TO EXPECT
In your role as a Lead Cyber Security Engineer you’ll be responsible for leading a research, development and delivery team for vehicle security related technology and features. You will also be responsible for leading the team to providing cybersecurity solution for a different wide range on challenges in-vehicle and off vehicle.
You will lead and interact with third party companies on daily basis to discuss new security technologies, strategies and lead the creation, review of cybersecurity documentation and standards.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
You will need a degree in Computer science/Computer Engineering or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience, bringing exposure to security topics such as crypto-algorithms, thread analysis, penetrations testing, or intruder detection / prevention mechanisms or firewalls from previous roles.
You will have around 10 years’ experience within software development using general-purpose programming languages such as C, C++ and an understanding of secure booting techniques on hardware (ECUs) and authenticating communications along with experience on embedded systems.
A thorough understanding of system and software engineering principles and be familiar with automotive networks (CAN, LIN, FLEXRAY, etc.) and AUTOSAR stack would be highly advantageous.
