Senior Linux Systems Administrator - (Contract)

I am currently working with an innovative FinTech company who have developed a unique, Cloud agnostic product which has been growing each and every year!
They are going through rapid expansion and they require a talented and experienced Systems Administrator with exceptional skills on Linux and cloud platforms (can be AWS or MS Azure). You will be joining their well established DevOps team and work on Process automation, Cloud migration, CI/CD, and site reliability. Qualifications & Experience
* Design, Configuration, Support and Maintenance of Linux Services.
* Use of puppet, Packer and Spacewalk to build and maintain systems on AWS
* Use of Jira, Confluence and Bitbucket
* Be able to work independently, and with Development and QA teams to help them with the design and implementation of their systems. Essential Core Technical Competencies
* Strong knowledge of Linux and associated tools with an emphasis on Red Hat Linux and it's derivatives.
* Experience with Amazon Web Services specifically EC2, VPC and
* Experience with configuration management tools, Puppet is preferable.
* Strong networking knowledge and experience with network infrastructure including firewalls, switches, firewalls and
* Experience managing hybrid IT infrastructure preferably with AWS.
* Ability to use SCM tools such as Mercurial and Git for managing infrastructure as code.
* Scripting Experience (Python, Ruby, Unix Shell scripts, Powershell).
* Effective monitoring of IT systems with tools such as Zabbix and Nagios and an ability to respond to alerts quickly.
