Responsibilities of the IT Project Manager: * Manage Project Management staff responsible for planning, monitoring, executing and implementing projects * Assist in departmental budget development, strategic direction * Provide leadership, direction, and supervision to staff * Provide business knowledge and technical support for systems development * Work closely with project members identifying deliverables and functions throughout a project * Ensure the project or effort is adequately staffed, trained and managed * Manage staff within approved manpower and budget guideline * Provide technical and advisory support for staff to ensure the development and implementation of applications The IT Project Manager must have: * Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of training and experience * Advanced degree and PMP preferred * Demonstrated expertise in the areas of strategy, planning and project management required * 5+ years' of work experience in management consulting, financial services, e-Business and/or related areas (this level of experience is intended as guidance only and does not preclude someone with more or less experience from applying for the role) * Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills required with a solid track record for developing internal and external relationships * Advanced knowledge of project management processes and techniques Please reach out to Mark Fallon on the contact details provided for a confidential conversation should this opportunity be of interest to you.
