Due to my client continued growth, they are seeking an Associate QA Engineer. This person will join a growing team of engineers who are assigned within agile product engineering teams to drive quality across all products. You will be supported by a community of practice QA function, whilst delivering from within your scrum team. The successful candidate will work with the latest technologies to develop next-generation applications and products, making sure all functionality is top-quality, secure and robust.

Responsibilities & Accountabilities:

* Design and create test cases and scripts to address business and technical use cases.
* Work within an Agile environment, using JIRA and TestRail.
* Interact with product management and development teams to develop a strong understanding of the project it's underlying architecture and testing objectives.
* Use existing tools and techniques to execute test cases.
* Execute manual and automated testing.
* Raise issues and escalate where necessary once fixed retest and close
* Analyse test results.
* Participate in troubleshooting of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution.
* Document, track and escalate issues as appropriate.

REQUIREMENTS

* Third level qualifications Computer Science or related discipline or relevant work experience.
* An understanding of the full SDLC.
* Knowledge of automated testing desirable
* Ability to work on own initiative and must be detail oriented.
* Proven ability to work on multiple projects at once.
* Ability to adapt to test processes and improve these where necessary.
* Exposure to Microsoft technologies such as C#, IIS, SQL Server, Windows Server.
* An understanding of testing dynamic applications across web, mobile and tablet.
* Experience/understanding of working in an Agile environment
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Database skills with a good knowledge of writing SQL.
