Azure Cloud Consultant

We are working with a company who are currently looking for a Tech/ Cloud Lead Consultant to join their busy office in Galway. The role will be a key member of our Cloud team implementing Azure based solutions. You will be responsible for the design, build and migration of Azure cloud solutions and environments for our clients.
This is initially a 6-month contract for project completion with a likely extension or view to go permanent after the 6-month period.
This includes:
* having a proven ability to convert business requirements to Azure cloud solutions across both PaaS and IaaS components
* possessing strong cloud implementation experience with Azure technologies
* understanding multi-datacenter/ multi-zone based designs
Your key responsibilities will include the following:
* Lead all technical aspects of project and solution delivery with our clients
* Solution design, evaluation and governance, assuring alignment to business products and services
* Cloud infrastructure solution builds and migrations (PaaS and IaaS)
* Plan and prepare network design documentation.
* Design and build IAAS and PAAS solutions.
* Assist with migration of on Premises workloads to the Azure Cloud
* Follow change control procedures.
* Assist in installing and configuring monitoring solution for Azure
* Conduct patching for Azure environments
* Ensure compliance and provide necessary evidence.
You will have the following:
* Degree or equivalent, preferably in Information Technology and proven experience in technical consulting roles
* Previous experience as a Senior Cloud Engineer, Cloud Consultant or Cloud Architect
* Ideally three to five years experience in developing, customising and integrating complex systems
* Proven experience in implementing Azure Cloud Services solutions
