JavaScript Software Engineer
Immediate opportunity for a JavaScript Software Engineer, working in a global financial services software development and data centre based in Krakow, Poland.
The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of JavaScript, delivering single page web applications (5+ years).
This permanent role offers the opportunity to take ownership and progress in a growing, global team.

Working with this client, you will:
* Liaise with the trading and structuring desks.
* Develop rich web applications using HTML5 and modern web technologies integrating with Java RESTful services infrastructure.
* Oversee and drive deliveries within a supportive team environment.
* Work within a fast-moving Agile team delivering in weekly cycles.
The minimum requirements:
* Strong understanding of JavaScript, delivering single page web applications (5+ years)
* Web frontend experience; HTML5, ECMA Script 6, React / Redux, AngularJS (6 months - 1 year with React/Redux)
* Knowledge of MV* frameworks (KnockoutJS, Backbone or other)
* TDD experience (Mocha, Chai, Sinon)
* Experience with test automation (Selenium, Cucumber)
* Proficient in code modularization and using AJAX and WebSockets
* Hands-on experience with agile methodologies, continuous integration and Test or Behavior driven development.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, and the desire to work as part of a global team
