Helpdesk Engineer - Galway
I'm working closely with a local organisation as they look to add another talented member to their internal support team based in Galway. You'll get the chance to work with an experienced Support team who don't operate in the normal split of Levels and escalations. They are a collaborative unit who work together to problem solve and this makes it an extremely enjoyable and fast paced work environment.
You'll need to be experienced in handling multiple assignments simultaneously as well as a passion for technology and a desire to improve on new technologies through the great training that my client has to offer.
Desired Skills/Experience:
* Strong experience supporting windows based systems.
* Experience maintaining Server systems, voice and data equipment and windows based network infrastructure.
* Knowledge of PC Hardware, applications, OS and IT System networks.
* TCP/IP and LAN/WAN experience.
* Experience with backups.
* Flexibility to pick up new technologies from day to day.
* Excellent troubleshooting skills.
* Great team player.
* Strong communication skills, written and verbal.
