Responsibilities

·        Developing, maintaining and improving products that have built Optel's reputation

·        Bringing projects to completion by participating in each development phase

·        Participating in agile activities

Necessities

·        Strong C, Python and Java programming

·        Strong knowledge of Software Engineering Principles

·        Knowledge of relational databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB)

·        Strong Networking knowledge (TCP/IP, OSI Stack), Virtualization

·        Excellent working knowledge of Network debugging tools (Wireshark etc.) Network Security

·        Good knowledge of Web Services Apache etc.

·        Software development, scripting and project management

·        Git or similar version control experience

·        Knowledge of various operating systems (Linux, Windows)

·        BSc/BA in Computer Science or a related
