QA Test Automation Engineer Dublin City 350€ per day 3-6-month contract
Joining an Agile development team as a QA Test Engineer / Tester you'll utilise your knowledge of testing strategy, planning, test case design and bug reporting, automating wherever possible but also understanding the restrictions and happy to use manual test techniques such as exploratory testing.
As well as testing software you will be exposed to the subtleties of testing hardware and associated firmware that all go into their innovative mass-market consumer electronics products. You'll be working closely with developers across the full project lifecycle, considering testing as an integral part of the development process.
Requirements
* Experience as a QA Test Engineer with a good knowledge of Test Automation and when / when not to use it
* Experienced in both API and Web testing
* Experienced in API and Web automation (selenium/ postman, SOAPUI)
* Experience with at least one scripting language and an understanding of object-oriented programming and design concepts (python, javascript)
* Good understanding of Exploratory Testing
* Experience of working in an Agile team
* Collaborative team member with strong communication and interpersonal skills
