Continually pushing the boundaries of innovation and redefining the benchmark for excellence, we set the standards others want to follow. We want to keep it that way too. Which is where you join the journey.

WHAT TO EXPECT

Working within our path and motion planning team as a Senior Autonomous Controls Engineer, you’ll architect and contribute to a system that will process input from a variety of different vehicle sensors. This will involve evaluating possible vehicle strategies and trajectories, and automating the safe control of the vehicle.

Taking a practical, hands-on approach, you’ll conceptualise, prototype, test and launch cutting-edge autonomous driving features. With a passion for product excellence and quality, you’ll be an integral part of a highly capable team, who you’ll collaborate with to ensure a smooth, robust implementation.

With a focus on future projects and technologies, this is a fast moving and challenging role. But in return, we offer the opportunity to make a real difference to our rapidly growing business, along with all the career progression opportunities you’d expect from a global business.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

Your real-world experience of developing robotic systems will have given you deep familiarity with the whole stack of high-level decision making, motion planning and low-level control. With a degree (or higher) in computer science, applied mathematics, aerospace, mechanical, robotics or a related field, you’ll have excellent knowledge of Markov Decision Processes and the practical application of robotic path planning, motion planning and decision making algorithms.

Keen to work in a fast-paced, production-orientated environment, you’ll have knowledge of control theory and applications, localisation algorithms, vehicle state estimation and dead reckoning. You’ll also be proficient in high level algorithm design, low level software implementation, C/C++ software development and embedded coding.

BENEFITS

Bring all this to the home of premium innovation where you'll receive a competitive salary and benefits package and you’ll find the opportunities to further your career with a world-class team.
