WHAT TO EXPECT
As a Radar Perception Engineer, and you’ll be part of the team that’s developing the autonomous driving capabilities that will be embedded into future Jaguar Land Rover vehicles.
You’ll create and develop algorithms that will perceive and model the world through radar. By applying the latest in machine learning algorithms to the automotive radar domain, you’ll provide the expert knowledge needed to develop our object detection and classification capabilities. This role will also see you develop ground truth data through simulations; manage real world data capture and labelling; and track key performance indicators; and more.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED
Eager to learn and apply the latest machine learning innovations, you’ll have strong knowledge of radar, with a keen understanding of Radar Data Cube, CFAR thresholding, tracklets and radar point clouds.
On top of this, you’ll also have previous experience using machine learning frameworks.. You’ll be experienced in working with advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) technologies and sensors - such as adaptive cruise control, automatic emergency braking, radar, cameras and ultrasonic. You’ll have have a strong product development history, preferably with strong C/C++ software development experience..
Finally, it would be an advantage if you can also demonstrate previous experience in developing automotive radar technologies.
