Allen Recruitment are assisting a Software Services Company based in Athlone, Westmeath source an experienced senior level UX Developer for one of their growing team.
This role will suit a creative self-starter who wants to be part of a team working within a leading International company building cutting-end Cloud based technology which is used across the globe.
Required Skills:
* A 3rd level degree in Computer Science related discipline
* 8+ years commerical experience - very strong knowledge using the latest UI frameworks and design techniques - usability, responsiveness
* Strong portfolio of UX projects
* Experience with story-boarding and wire-framing - quick prototyping
* Use to working with UI designers to implement attractive designs
* Able to communicate design ideas and prototypes to developers and stakeholders
* Keep abreast of competitor products and industry trends
* Excellent English and Communication skills essential
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work as a member of a high performing engineering scrum team
Technical Ability:
* Highly experienced in UX/UI design and development
* Proven competence in large scale Single Page Application development
* Multi device development including Responsive Web Design techniques and patterns
* Familiar with latest web standards
* HTML5 APIs (e.g. Serviceworkers, Web Components)
* CSS3 including common frameworks (LESS) and methods (BEM)
* Familiar with popular JS frameworks and libs (e.g. React, Angular, NodeJS)
* Integration with JavaScript based reporting and charting solution
* Experience working in an Agile environment with Engineering scrum teams is an added advantage
