Why would you be interested in this role? * As this is a young Software Development & Delivery Centre this is a key opportunity to establish the Project Management function from scratch * Opportunity to apply best practices (Scrum / Agile) to the day to day operations of the PM software delivery function designing processes, procedures and systems, selecting optimization tools to build and provide a world class global software delivery capability * Good career progression potential What are the core duties? * Develop project plans and budgets. * Liaise with the team to estimate and coordinate task delivery. * Maintain budgets and timelines. * Partake in meetings to track overall status, understanding and removing blockers. * Communicate with stakeholders and sponsors, on project status. * Apply effort estimation, change control process and templates. Further Responsibilities: * Assist project delivery process definition and refinement. * Maintenance of SDLC and Project Roles & Responsibilities matrix. * Oversee project reporting templates and standards. * Support consolidated project post-mortem log. What experience do you need to get this job? * 5+ years practical experience in Software Development OR Systems Integration OR Application Support Project Management * Project Management Methodology / Certification: PRINCE. PMP, SCRUM * Methodologies - significant experience with SDLC / Waterfall AND AGILE development is required * Project Management Tools * Experience working with global / international teams * Significant management experience working with Offshore teams & vendors * Comfortable working in both a small local environment within a large dispersed global environment with local and outsourced solutions providers * Technical Environment: Appreciation of various software development environments including Unix, Java / Oracle & Web Technologies Personal Attributes: Resourceful, analytical, with strong communication skills able to drive successful outcomes.
