Senior UI Developer (ES6 & React.js) Dublin City Centre Job Ref: BBBH11098 Allen Recruitment is working with an International Fintech company which utilises the latest cutting-edge technologies to build state-of-the-art applications used in the Financial Services industry. Currently in a major growth phase, they have an immediate requirement for an experienced UI Developer (Number 2 on the UI / front-end team). Expertise using: * HTML * CSS * ES6 * React.js Experience of Agile Scrum, test-driven development (TDD), browser automation, performance testing, node.js + Grunt/Gulp based build systems, CSS pre-processors (such as LESS or SASS) and module bundling (such as webpack or browserify) is highly desirable. Main Responsibilities: * Develop production-quality front-end code * Strong knowledge and experience in responsive design * Developing documentation for developers * Create proofs of concept to test ideas * Must ensure that UI continues to be fully embedded in the agile development process * Keeping up-to-date with legal requirements, standards, guidelines and professional good practice relating to UI design, accessibility, usability testing and usability research Required Experience & Skills: * 3-5 years experience in front-end web application design with a focus on user experience and usability * Must be highly proficient with HTML and CSS * Strong JavaScript experience with frameworks such as React.js * Experience with ES6 highly desirable * Experience of test-driven development (TDD) * Experience of JavaScript testing * Excellent verbal & written communication skills * Online portfolio to demonstrate previous work Interested in this opportunity?
